BE THANKFUL!
I know, this is so random and not related to the writing class at all, but look around you, there are a lot of things that you should be thankful of.

I'm so thankful that i'm sitting here, in front of my laptop, typing this, when there are people out there who don't even know what internet is...

I'm so thankful that I'm a college student, when there are people out there who cannot get a proper education..

I'm so thankful that I have mom and dad, when there are people out there who never meet their parents..

I'm so thankful that I have a sister and a brother, eventhough sometimes there are annoying (LOL), when there are people out there who lost their siblings due to accidents or whatever..

I'm so thankful that I know and believe in Jesus, when there are people out there do not know about Him..

I'm so thankful that I have great friends to hang out with, when there are people out there who always feel lonely or were betrayed by their friends..

I'm so thankful that I have super awesome best friends, when there are people out there never know how it feels like to have best friends..

I'm so thankful that I can drive car, when there are people out there do not even have a car..

I'm so thankful that I can shop stuffs I want, eventhough I'm not rich or what, when there are people out there who can hardly buy food..

I'm so thankful that I met TVXQ with 5 members, before they became separated like now, when there are fans out there who want to meet them..

I'm so thankful that I can walk with 2 legs, when there are people out there who do not even have legs..

I'm so thankful that I can breathe properly, when there are people out there who are 'sleeping' with the oxygen mask in the emergency room..

Be thankful of whatever you have! Because there are people out there who are in worse condition than you..

A Worker of My Parents’ Shop is One of My Everyday’s Heroes

After reading the title, maybe you wonder,”How can a worker be her everyday’s hero?” Well, for me, she is one of my everyday’s heroes. She is not a famous or rich person. She is only a worker of my parents’ shop. Her full name is Risa Maula Oktavia. People usually call him *thx to Rina for correcting* her Risa. She is much younger than me but she has already had a job.  She works in my parents’shop and sometimes she works at my house as a housemaid. She is from Jepara, central Java, and she lives in a contracted house near my parents’shop. She chose the job in my parents’ shop because she wants to gain her job experience since she is still very young. She likes to work in a shop because it can be a chance for her to meet new people. I honestly admire her because she is still young and can't get higher education than junior high school, but she wants to work diligently.
There are her goals and her life motivation that inspire me. She wants to be a successful person. It makes me think that i have to be a successful person too. She wants to make her parents happy and proud of her. This gives me lesson that i should make my parents happy too in ways i can do. For example, I have to study hard so that i can get a scholarship. This definitely would make my parents happy. Risa also wants to have a better future for her and her family. She cannot go to school anymore because her parents' money is not enough to pay for the school fees. She hopes by having this job would help her family’s finance problem. For this one, I feel that she 'beats' me. I hate the fact that I cannot do something to earn money for now. But i am very grateful that I have parents who support me and pay for my education fees.
There are also some of her struggles and challenges that i can learn from. Waking up early in the morning is one of them, since I am not a morning person. Another one is she has to memorize all the prices in my shop. It must be a tough job to do. Memorizing  a lot of prices is never easy, unless I have a very bright brain. I think that would be a challenge for her to do that. Another challenge is that she has to serve customers friendly. Meeting new people and greeting them friendly are not things I can do easily. There must be some efforts to do that.
So, I learn a lot from her life and her story.  As a person, I should not give up easily on something. When I want something, I need efforts to get it. I have to keep trying on my own. Her story also teaches me to try harder. Life is tough, but I should be tougher than it. I also have to be grateful because I still have parents who can support my needs so that I do not need to work hard in such young age like Risa.

HERO JAEJOONG MY BIGGEST INSPIRATION
Hero Jaejoong is my biggest inspiration. Most of what i am doing right now is inspired by him. Who is Hero Jaejoong? You might not know him. He is a famous singer from South Korea. This main vocal of TVXQ was born on January 26th, 1986. He was not raised by his biological parents. He was adopted by a married couple who have 8 daughters, and he is the youngest one. He had a dream to be a famous singer, so he came from his small town to Seoul to be a singer. He had the courage with him. He wanted to chase his dream so he became the main vocal of TVXQ, a famous korean group which has more than 800,000 official and thousands fans from all over the world.  He is loved by a lot of people now, and i know, I am not the only one who is inspired by him. How can he inspire me? By reading his story before becoming a celebrity, I realize that he is a very tough person and i cannot help but admiring him. He is my idol and meeting my idols would  be one of the best thing I want. Two years ago i went to Bangkok, Thailand, to watch TVXQ’s concert, it was when i  could finally meet him. Last year i also met him, i went to their showcase in Malaysia and took a picture with him (and other fans) and that was the best day in my life.
There are some of Jaejoong’s strenghts that make me admire him even more. He is a tough person, he never gives up. He came from a poor family, but he wanted to chase his dream so bad that he worked hard  so he had money to pay for his training fees. He always tries his best. He did his best on the audition that the judges accepted him. He has great voice that can make my heart melt in a second. His voice is so soft and angelic that i can never get bored listening to his voice. The other thing that i love in him is that he loves his fans so much. If I were an idol, maybe I would not love my fans as much as he did. Jaejoong is also very generous. He often attends a charity event or when he is filming drama, he sometimes treats the staffs.
As a human-being, Jaejoong also has some weaknesses. There are of some his weaknesses that i can learn from. He was a tone deaf when he was young. He was raised in a small town that he never gets a proper education about music. Some people mocked him because he was a tone deaf ,but now he is one of Korean’s best singer. He also drinks a lot. That is one of his habits that i hate so much. I hope by now he has stopped his drinking habit. Jaejoong is also a smoker, i found out about it after becoming his fan. I don’t ever want to be a smoker and drinker like him. It is bad for my health. I hope Jaejoong has stop smoking or drinking anymore.
Hero Jaejoong’s life inspires me a lot. He is the reason why i chose English as my major. I dislike English. My English was very bad until i became TVXQ’s fan. I started reading English articles, because their news are written in English and Korean. I started reading English fanfictions. Now my English was not as bad as before. I also want to become a hardworking person like him. I want to chase my dream, no matter what the obstacles are. I don’t want to give up and i want to continue learning. I also want to be a generous person like him. He was poor and now he is very rich but he is never arrogant. He is a very generous person who has a very kind heart. Hero Jaejoong means a lot to me.

ME? ME! ME~ ME............
About my life

Sometimes i think there's nothing special about my life. Instead i think i'm a person who has the worst luck in the world. Really. I'm always unlucky, no matter what it is. Then the thought of having the worst luck came to my mind.

I was born in Bandung on 22nd Feb 1992, raised in Bandung and Sidareja (a village). I'm skinny (that's what people told me, even though i feel that i'm slim. LOL), tall (IDK why i'm tall when my parents are not really tall),and not really smart. Since my mom is very strict with education *she really is. when i was in primary school, she would hit me if i didn't get good marks*,  she wishes for perfect GPA, which i haven't been able to reach because of some shitty subjects. When other people think my GPA now is already great *3,73* , mom still thinks i need to get the perfect GPA *or at least 3,9* last time, she was mad at me because last semester my GPA was better *3,77*.

Laura and English. When i was a little, nobody taught me English, unlike some children now. They have been taught English ever since they were in Playgroup. But for my case, no. The first time i learned English was 9 years ago. My primary school wasn't a modern one, so they had no English teacher. Until when i was on the 4th grade, a teacher, which was actually taught me MATH* taught English at my class. It was a very basic English like ABCD and 1234. But mom wanted me to be fluent in English so she hired me an English tutor and i learned English more from her. I also learned English from some western songs, like Westlife's for example. But i got more interested in Chinese instead of English because i loved F4 very much.

Junior High School is the best school experience for me. I love my JHS friends and teachers. But no, i haven't been really interested in English. However, for some odd reasons, I found myself dislike Chinese. Chinese has  'Hanzi' and that was the part i hate the most.

Senior High School is the worst school experience for me. Things got worse and some brats bullied me sometimes. I was weak till i knew these 5 guys called TVXQ. yeah, they were not my family or my friends, they were strangers. But i had no idea why they influenced me so much *in a good way, of course* i started to become a strong girl, i changed, my close friends said that. I've been their fan since November 2007. And they also made me love English. Yes, they are from Korea, but the news about them that i read every day is always in English *since i don't understand korean, and still studying it* there is also something called 'fanfic' , it's like a novel but the characters are your idols. I read fanfics everyday from the internet, so my English is getting better and better. Thanks to fanfics and TVXQ. I even went to Bangkok to watch their concert in 2009, appereantly it was their last concert as 5 that i could ever seen. so i never regret going to Bangkok to watch it. Right now, they are *some people called it 'disband', i prefer to call it 'hiatus'* so the 3 members of TVXQ sued their company and they left the company and joined another one and made a sub-group called 'JYJ'. Last year *2010* i went to Malaysia to watch JYJ's showcase and took a picture with them because i bought the VIP ticket. If it wasn't for them, my English would be very terrible, trust me.

I 'm going to end this post here. Now i feel unwell *because i was sick since 5 days ago* sorry for the grammar mistakes, i'm not a grammar teacher *i do love grammar* so i often make grammar mistakes. Ahh, talking about grammar, I'm gonna miss Ms. Cindy as my grammar lecturer. Hahaha. Okay, i really should stop writing now. *tied fingers*
